To support our growth objectives, we are seeking to recruit 1 highly experienced, industry knowledgeable Sales Managers with a remit to proactively identify, progress and close sales opportunities within defined geographic regions. Reporting to the UK based Corporate Marketing and Business Development Director, position will work in close liaison with our Ship Management Centre Managing Directors and network of External Representatives. It is intended that a role will focus on European business growth opportunities and on the Asia region, with flexibility on base location. We would be pleased to hear from self-motivated, result orientated sales professionals with proven capabilities gained within an international, multi-cultural maritime environment who are seeking to further develop their career within a high quality, ambitious industry leader. Job Objective Support achievement of business growth objectives through maximising the identification, progression and conversion of sales opportunities within defined geographic region. Key Accountabilities 1. Proactively identify and develop productive relationships with key decision makers and influencers within potential new customer organisations. 2. Maintain a close interface with the Corporate market analysis and competitive intelligence resource to proactively act on sources of new sales opportunities. 3. Support the development of budget proposals aimed at maximising probability of success at optimum sales margins. 4. Champion the consistent use of sales and customer management processes and CRM tool, ensuring accuracy of data in a timely manner. 5. Provide regular forecasts relative to agreed sales targets and monitor success against relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). 6. Provide market, customer and competitive intelligence reports on a regular basis to ensure that marketing & business development activities are conducted in the most effective, efficient and targeted manner and unique selling propositions / competitive differentiators further developed. 7. Provide market and customer input to the development of new offerings and wider business growth potential. 8. Support and coach Ship Management Centre based colleagues in the development and effective implementation of selling, presentation and communication skills Education & Qualifications • Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Marketing would be considered an advantage Work Experience • Extensive maritime and / or shipmanagement experience in sales roles gained within an international, multi- cultural environment.
